Tour Prep Update

In preparation for our upcoming tour, the band has been rehearsing weekly and working on wrapping up a few new tracks. It’s been a blast gearing up again! Before the holidays we set up a photo shoot to create new content for our marketing activities and new gig posters. The band and the marketing folks all had a blast. We listened to SOiL during the shoot to help keep us focused.

Over the years there have been several reasons why Sin MG hasn’t played out. The band was in hiatus, we started families, we grew apart, time in the studio, etc. The obstacles are now behind us and we are all very excited to bring our music to life again for our fans.

The idea to get back out there started to take shape about a year ago when Scott Sinclair and Scott (Smoke) Wilson (bass) sat down for a bourbon. Sinclair said, “I would really love to get Sin MG back on the road”. Smoke said, “Why don’t we? Let’s do it”. That’s all it took! With that, Smoke and Sinclair started contacting the other members and shortly thereafter rehearsals began. This will be the first time Sin MG plays without one of its founding members, Keith Parsons. It will be bittersweet to say the least.

We sincerely thank all of you for sticking with us through the years and we hope to see you out on the road. If you are in the Chicago area on February 4th, come check us out at Penny Road Pub in Barrington. Peace!
